Will a conservative victory in New York tomorrow mean that the great debate in the rebublican party is over?

There has been this rift in the republican party for years between those that believe that we should embrace the conservative values that Reagan embodied, and those that believe that we should reach out to those on the left and move to the middle. Bush and Mccain typified the latter. It is a big reason why a lot of us gave up on and were disgusted with the Republican party. If a conservative victory tomorrow means that the former are gaining control of the party back it would be great news to me.

  1. Real American intellectuals are conservatives and a victory in New York, New Jersey and in Virginia is the beginning of the demise of the Obama regime and his cult.
  2. I don't personally care anymore. They all try to screw us over and feign patriotism and being caring of us. I left the party not because of the rift, but because the entire right has turned into a mob of squabbling babies after the election of Obama. They need to pull their heads out of their you-know-where and realize that their hypocrisy will make them lose every election for the next few years.
  3. I hope the conservatives are winning control of the Republican party because that means a future of permanent Democratic control of the government. The demographics of the nation have changed since Reagan. The conservative movement primarily attracts white people, which is the one racial demographic that continues to shrink with every election. It will be harder and harder as time goes on for Republicans to win anything outside of a few southern and plains states. Edit: I have to laugh at this question now. I guess since the great Rushbo predicted a Hoffman victory it was all but certain to you ignorant fools. While you celebrate a couple of local race victories, the Democrats have now expanded their majority in Congress and we get a glipse of the future of the Republican party: The conservatives purge out the moderates and end up letting Democrats win seats they haven't held in over 100 years. Keep it up!
  4. yes, it will.
