How to open the door in victory road in pokemon gold?

Well, I got this problem in pokemon shiny gold. I dont know how to open the door in victory road. My badge is complete so how come I can't enter? Please help me... I really need the answer.

1. According to my Pokemon source (see below), having all eight Gym Badges is the only requirement for getting into Victory Road. Are you sure you have all eight badges? And, did you use any cheat codes or gameshark codes to obtain any of the badges? Because that might affect the guard who stops you from entering Victory Road. If, by chance, you're talking about the two side doors, you can't enter them until you speak to Professor Oak in Pallet Town, after beating the Pokemon League then obtaining all eight badges from the Kanto region (the old red/blue/yellow region). Hope this was helpful.
2. Are you playing pokemon gold (the original) or shiny gold (the hack). I have both, never had problems with gold and i haven't beat shiny gold yet, but i am not sure that you can beat shiny gold.
