What a great victory by two wickets 7th One day International against Australian cricket team?

Indians are great. We Indians celebrate the victory which is not a victory at all. In other words, the series victory was already taken by Australians and 7th one day international was just a formality and there is nothing in that for taking pride We are killing a dead snake which is already dead and take pride for the job done. We are Indians and Indians are really great!!! I welcome your ideas/views.

Hi, Irrespective of whether the series is over or not, we have to take every match seriously. Its an international cricket match, and when it is played at the highest level representing your country, you need to enjoy victory of every match, never mind, if you win or lose the series! Lets say Ind had lost that match. People would have bashed the Indian team even more. Atleast be happy, that Ind won the final match, eventhough the series was decided. Atleast., Australia lost .... lolz..Am happy for that!!!! lolz
Umm. I missed the score so i am trying to unravel the above. Congratulations India today, because a) always be proud when you win... b) remember never to bring it up again or they'll remind you it was a "dead rubber", a game that didn't matter. Outstanding individual scores or moments in any game of course stand forever, full stop.
If that is so ,the match would have been called off.Why we should paly after they won the cup.To the eyes of the selectors these crucial matches will help,Irfan ,BAllaji and Doni were shined in PAkistan,playing at the crucial time of the game would have been a good entertainer rather making merry of 141 runs partnership for the 1 st Wkt and loosing the game,by 28 runs.

Whatever it is IT IS STILL A VICTORY FOR US . Let's celebrate that first . The first & the last match matters most . For Australia the guilt feeling of going back home with a defeat will haunt them the most . The Australians have started tasting defeat which is a very gratifying thing for Indians . As a true blue Indian am happy & proud of our MEN IN BLUE . Keep up the good job boys .

i lovedddd the game......and every win is sure to be celeberated but the best thing of that very match was our tailenders going for shots against bowlers like lee(especially bhajji's four)
you are right.i know we indian loose the series.but it was a good lesson for our players.now they know their drawbacks.and they will surely work on that drawbacks.trust me they will surely prove themselves.they will surely win the coming matches. we are indians and we never giveup.we have that courage that we can prove ourselves.you,i and all indians are proud of being indian. chak de india

i also thought da same....but,better to lose a series by 4-2 than by any other rating.The indians did quiet well......

Mate you've made an important point. The Indian team seriously went over the top with their celebrations after the 7th ODI. They won, yes, but there was no pressure on them and it doesn't change the fact that they lost the games that mattered! Also, the commentators who were hailing it as a 'phenomenal and famous' victory were really being silly. The fact that India weren't as good as Australia and thus had lost the series very badly was completely ignored! It's not the first time it's happened and that is very disturbing.
Would've been 5-2 but the weather saved India in the first game. In reality the Indians were almost humilliated as they went into the series with a wet sail after the 20/20 victory.
this performance is very good for next series with pakistan because the players are very confident build up.
